Inspiration

My design was inspired the traditional massage roller balls used in physiotherapy and after intense workouts. They are used to reduce muscle tension, improve blood flow, reduce pain levels, improve range of motion and aid in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Concept and Design

F.M.R tracks and records muscle data whilst also giving a deep tissue massage, focusing on knots and trigger points. With thin flexible rubber ends, this allows the F.M.R to be one size fits all. A flexible display screen is wrapped around a more solid rubber form which contains sensors to collect data and over time builds a profile for the user which can then compare your regular muscle data to that when your muscles are inflamed or tissue damage is apparent.
As this is not intended to be worn 24/7 therefore I designed it without joints so it won't bend with your finger but because of this you will receive more accurate data readings.
